Thurso Pavillion

Out of interest what is the history behind it I thought it belonged to the locals ? And what other part of Thurso belongs to us, ie the Dammies

well from wot i know the townswomen guild donated half the money to build the pavillion, the council owned the land but could not afford to build it all by themselves so with this donation many years ago the pavillion was built, for all in the community to use.
