See on the news that the UK is contributing the most amount of money to help poorer nations like Africa tackle climate change.
Surely if we base it on population then Germany and France should be contributing more than us, especially when the UK is stuggling to come out of the resession where as both Germany and France have come out of it. Coming to think that we as a nation are Europes bitch now, never mind the USA's.
I presume that the extra £500,000,000 per year for the next 3 years is on top of what we already give to international development fund (£7.7 Billion next year). It is no wonder that we cannot afford our Essential services such as the NHS and Schools.

Sad thing is regardless of who wins the next General Election, bugets are going to be cut, taxes are going to go up and we are still handing out money.

Maybe it is about time the goverment turned around and said sorry we are skint at the moment try another country.

It is peanuts, the Stern report suggested that just 1% of GDP be spent on tackling climate change, that is £15,000,000,000 per year out of the UK economy.
