Is this a stonechat?

Took this today. It was flying about with a similar bird but that one appeared to have a darker head. I am thinking this is a female stonechat and the other was the male but please correct me if wrong.

Looks like it to me, I only worked out what they were a week ago whilst in Northumberland. Loads in the grass on the edges of the dunes down there - just below Bamburgh castle.
