looking to upgrade from a bridge to a dslr but not sure what to go for. at the moment im looking at the nikon d60
any one have any ideas or knowledge they want to pass on ? *G*
i really like the reviews of the nikon, only thing that throws me off is no live view.. but think i can live with that.. also was thinking about the pentax as have been told you can use the old lens for the dslr... so any advice would be most welcome!

I've got a Sony A300 Brandy which has liveveiw - never use it much prefer the viewfinder, besides which I believe they drain the battery. good luck in finding what you're after

Hey there, nikons are a good camera, the new d3000 has loads of decent features and is aimed at beginners, easy to use, high pixels etc and is competivly priced.
I personally cant see past canon, they just seem more user friendly and ergonical
