What operating system are you using? XP or Vista?

In addition to the OS, could you answer these also:

Is this an additional account?
By Outlook do you mean the application or an e-mail account at ISP level?
If its the application just to clarify its MS Outlook and not Outlook Express or Windows Mail you want?

Thinking about it, the process is pretty similar for both.

Here are some links to have a look at..

XP/Outlook express - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/using/howto/oe/setup.mspx

Vista/Windows Mail - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Windows-Mail-setting-up-an-account-from-start-to-finish

The key thing you will need to know is the POP & SMTP mail servers for your ISP/Mail provider. Plus your account name/password

If your not sure a quick google search should be able to tell you.

well taking this literally as its written
if you ain't got an outlook icom or its not showing in program files/microsoft office.........

then its not installed

you need office installing,
prob as advised the windows live will be the prog to start.

then it the same process as indicated.
