Hi
Does anyone have photographs of flagstone slab sheds or byre dividers , water tanks, etc.?
By this I mean large, upright single Caithness flags.
I'm writing an article on them and any pics will be credited.

Cheers. :)

I have just converted one into a chicken shed :)

The slabs are well over 3 inches thick and have been a nightmare to cut to put a hatch in! The chuck love it The best thing about it is that it is soundproof so the cockrel doesn't wake us up ;)

Edit - not finished yet so looks a bit naff...

Will take tomorrow - the corners have pieces of metal that are like L brackets and have big bolts attaching them. The inside is wood frame that has none left at the bottom - just for display now ;). It's still solid though :)

Thanks for the photo.
Nice water tank. Since it has been moved partially off its base you can see the locating grooves in the base.
Do you think you could clean the base up to show this more clearly ?? This would be much appreciated !!

Any more pictures anyone ?? :)

Very cool water tank, highlander. But my goodness, what He-Man was able to move it off its base LOL or did a running cow do that.
