A little bird hit my husbands car, he stoped and picked it up to see if had died or injured, the bird was in shock but is ok apart from the fact it has lost its tail feathers so can not fly proper, looks like a finch. Is there anywere we can take it as we think if we let it go were we found it, it would not life because of the tail feathers it has not good balance.Any advice.
kindest regards

I think a phone call to SSPCA at Balmore would give you answers!:confused

Thanks yes I am aware of balmore, but last time I phoned them about a bird a lady came out told me the bird was fine and its wing was not broken, if I wanted to care for it then set it free when it was better she was happy, I took it to the vet and the vet put the poor thing down telling me it had broke its wing and bad and was starving.I was really upset.Just wanted to know if there was a bird rescue place near by.
