stawberry seeds

In the summer i got some strawberries from tesco as a experiment i dried some of the seeds once they were dry i planted them i didn't think that they would grow but to my surprise they did has anyone tried to grow something like that.

We planted strawberry seeds in December last year, they were very slow growing and we did not expect any fruit this year but once it warmed up in the greenhouse they took off, we planted them out end of April and have been picking fruit for about six weeks now with plenty to come yet, we are on the coast in Sussex and it has been a reasonable summer so far which must be a factor to consider, anyway best of luck with them, keep them inside and you could be picking fruit in November.
