Looks like a lily of some description. Couldn't say a name other than that though sorry!

I think it is an amaryllis. Have a look on google images.

O Yeah!!! Very observant. I hadn't noticed that but you're correct, those spent flowers do appear to be in a line as the Glads would be. :)
