It's a 'fishermans barometer' according the all the writing on a plaque or two at the side of it :) the wind vane on top is a recent addition as i have a photo of this taken a few years ago minus the wind vane.

It was a pertinent question as I have only ever seen barometers indoors and the wind vane does not look real - well the boat part. The whole thing also has a strange perspective for me as if it could be a small thing tryin to look big like on a crazy golf course. The only thing to do wi cooking on this thread is yer stirrin!!! :Razz
