The old Lieurary Windfarm was turned down by Highland Council and rejected on appeal by the Scottish Government. The new Lieurary Windfarm is currently advertised for objection. When will it go away?
What are the details of the changes from the original application?:confused

Two turbines instead of three, smaller - 92 m, (can't remember original size proposed but 110m or more) but nearer Causeymire size than Forss size, a bit lower down the hill, but still on the skyline.
Not much change then perhaps. The loch calder area is a real gem so I'd like this area to be preserved. The views from the southern end of the loch are quite spectacular and a wind farm could seriously affect the panorama. Is there a photomontage from this pointpoint?:confused
Erecting 2 large wind turbines so close to an area that is owned by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds surely can not possibly be permitted.

The deadline for objection is the 24th of July, which is this Friday.
For a photo montage and online objection got to

I am all for wind power, but this wind farm is in my opinion prohibitive as it is so close to an area where endangered species live/breed.
And when on earth will they make these things green so that they blend in rather than sticking out like sore thumbs?
