Another one of my poems
How times flies when your having fun
But times drags when you want to be done
Looking at the clock and staring into space
The 5 o'clock expression lights up your face
So of home to the dinner ill be cooking
or will I chicken out and takeaway be booking
Microwave my favourite snack
wait a couple minutes, hey presto thats that!
Then away to the couch where I watch tv
flick through the channels, nout good to me
Why is tv so popular when rubbish appears
I think ill go for a jog or to the pub for some beers
This is why some turn to drink
because exercise is tiresome and tv just stinks
when you get home from a hard days job
you just want to get comfy in your bathroom robe
oh yeah! a shower thats what I need
the best thing to have after a cheap little feed
and not to mention the stench of myself
time to reach for the lynx on the bathroom sink shelf
Going to bed, where i start to dream
thinking of money, girls and chocolate ice cream
Then suddenly it stops, my dream comes to harm
all because of the 7 o'clock alarm
