I'm still taking the photographs, just don't get a lot of time to comment.
Hear are few of the highlights taken since I last posted.

Terrific shots again, the Mey Cottage is the one for me,the flowers draw you towards the cottage and the 3 crows above it.A cracker.
You really should have your images published in a "Scenes of Caithness/Sutherland" type of book.
I've lived here for 35 years and would say at least a third to probably nearer a half of your images are of places or things i haven't seen before and i'm sure i'm not alone in that respect,or do i just need to get out more?
Cracking shots NL, and I totally agree with MPH's comments.
Great shots North Light, I like the old boat at Talmine in particular. I remember when that boat was first beached there many years ago and have photographed it's many stages of decay over the years!
Incidentally, do you turn into something else if you are out of Caithness after midnight ?
nirofo.
I think they are all great NL but prefer Balankiel Bay and the Kyle of Tongue. Aye, nirofo, I was wondering that too!!! [lol]

all stunning as usual NL.
think you've convinced me to dump the learner-driver daughter from hell and get back out with the camera again :Razz for my own sanity if nothing else
Great set NL. 2, 4 & 6 at this end. Look forward to seeing the book!

Thank you all for the comments.
nirofo & wifie.
I plan to find out later in the year!
mph,
I have to admit that I've already done one book on blurb, was predominately to allow my father to see more of my photography. Having completed the first and finding it a rewarding experience I'm now part way through the second, planning to complete it in November, again it will be using blurb.

North Light, I challenge you to pass the Kyle of Tongue and not stop to take a photo. I don't think it can be done, as it is one of the most beautiful, photogenic places in the world.
It's hard to beat.
I drove over that causeway twice a day, everyday for 5 years and it was different every time.
I miss thoses hills up there.
Beautiful photo of the Kyle.
Thought I'd just add that the name of the wreck on Talmine beach is The Reaper.
