My new hobby of walking along canals.
I like it - though I stick to the tow path obviously.

Some nice photos Percy. The good thing about canals is not too many uphill bits which is great if you are trying to return to full fitness.

You had better steady up a bit old pal as you are getting ever closer to that 3K mark.:eek::lol:

Great pics percy! I did a canal walk for my 23 miles and the bridges and tunnels were amazing! Gonna go back wi my camera! Actually gonna go back to a lot of walks I have done at pace wi my camera some time - seen some great things but not been practical to take camera with me! :)

really pieceful looking,I used to love walking along canals when I lived in Bath,really relaxing.Where is your canal?

HI Shazzy - it's the Peak Forest Canal south-east of Manchester. We'll be doing another stretch on the morrow.
