I have second hand double glazed windows to use and I was just wondering if they will be too hot for a home made green house and will they burn the stuff inside?
Any feedback is most appreciated.

I have just done the same with some recycled double glazed units and it has worked out well.
My biggest problem just now is my elderly mother-in-law has come to visit and I can't get her out of there because it's such a pleasant place to be.
On a hot day you probably have to open a window or two...
Any pictures Kevin ?
Of the greenhouse ... not your mother-in-law ;-)

I have taken a few photos, but it has taken up so much room in my back yard I cannot get far enough away from it to get a good photo.lol
I will ask my neighbour if I can stand on there kitchen roof and have another go.
The way things are going with the MIL it may be diffecult to get her out of the frame.

Hi Stefan, I have managed to crowbar the old girl out for five minutes and got some photos so lets hope this works.

It seems you are only allowed to post three images at a time so here are the other three

Only thing you need to watch, if its to be a lean to type, is that you have plenty slope on the roof, if not, lots of condensation. Great for tomatoes. Had nothing else, but recycled windows, until, I could afford a greenhouse made by local joiner. Still have the lean to made with old windows, and think its great.
Hi,
Does anyone have a step by step guide for a total novice. Love Kevin's greenhouse but looks a bit too professional for me to have a go at. Thanks

It does look like the old girl has taken up residence there with the easy chair, TV., etc. Very nice.
