Thrumster School House - George Henderson?

My cousin turned up that there seems to have been a fellow named George Henderson who listed his address in the 1930s or 1940s as Thrumster School House. Now, I would think that meant he had something to do with the school? Or did they vacate the school in Thrumster and use it as a dwelling?
