Loch More & Westerdale Mill

There appears to be a few threads from this area just now. Here are some of my recent efforts (Sunday - 12/04/09). All 3 part HDR, long exposures.

Yet again I fail to catch the water coming over the dam wall at Loch More!!

Very good shots Deemac.

You do the long exposures/HDR`s very well imo. You can tell there`s been a bit of HDR but it`s very subtle.

No 1`s my pick... love the water.

Nice moody shots, like the first looking back at the bridge at Westerdale, hadn't thought of that angle, the movement in the water of all the images is beautifully depicted.
With any luck you are going to have to wait till the winter before you see coming over the dam wall, not wanting to inhibit your photography, but I'm hoping for a good Summer.

Yes No.1 struck me as a keeper too. Something about this viewpoint with the bridge is more interesting that the one's with the mill in the view.

I'll just have to wait for a good wet patch to get the Loch More shot with water flowing over the wall.

NL - Yes, I think I too would prefer a good Summer and to dam with my photographic wish list shots!!
