MPH,
I agree with Deemac, the first is a stunner, you're head for heights must be a lot better than mine.
MPH...No1 stunning, love the colours.

Thank you everyone, the sun was just starting to glow orange on the cliffs which gave them a nice deep rich glow.
Northlight....I think the camera foreshortens things a bit,i was about 4-5 ft from the edge.Thats as close as i can go without the need for toilet roll:lol:
3 gull trails on this one.think i'll go out tonight and take some several second exposures to see what the gull trails look like, just a bit of fun.

errrr.......with the risk of sounding dumb whats a gull trail???? is it where they all target with their skoots??
I would never get close enough to find out as it would be a sick bag needed not toilet roll
great shots and very brave of you to go that close
I am assuming dragonfly that they are trails (see the white lines on the shots) left by flying gulls in the type of exposure used by MPH!

Correctamundo Wifie, when i first saw it i thought it was some sort of lens flare but then the penny dropped so after much thought came up with the highly technical and innovative term of gull trails:lol:
As it looks like its going to be a bonnie night i'll venture out again near sunset time.

Long gull trails are great - bit like cobwebs. :) Love the glow in the sheep shot!
