For anyone who cares, or doesn't care, I've been building a guitar.
I'm currently in the painting process and its starting to look kinda decent. Here's a couple of pics

In the second pic, I just noticed a little pooling of lacquer near the front pickup cavity. I'll be sorting that this afternoon.
Looks good Jeid. Nice paint job. Not so sure about that neck though...
Haha... once I get the frets on it... all 9 of them, it'll be fine :o

really impressive Jeid, hopefully see some pics when its finished.
Excellent work Jeid, be sure to post some pics when you get it finished
Thanks guys, its gonna be sitting doing nothing for the next 3 weeks. Gotta let it dry out before I wet sand and buff the finish. Should be ready just in time for my birthday.
This however won't be the last. I've been in contact with the guy who sold me this body and he's got another one lined up for me.
dude...........i remeber you showing me the body as it was but......NICE JOB
tell me, did you do it yourself?
if so, many a bass i have you can try your skills out on
Yeah man. Painted that myself. Thanks for the nice words Benjim
As it so happens, I have a picture of how it started

Thats really nice, and looks like the business. So how much did it cost you, if you dont mind me asking, and more importantly how does it play??
plays really well. not really had much playing time on it, but it feels ace.
Cost wise... reckon it set me back about £400

You should have made it a fretless and then sold it on Ebay for £1000!!:)
that would be a good idea, if it actualy had any chance of working.
Lookin well nice!!
How much then?
lol

Around about £400 ish I reckon. Plus lots and lots of time and effort. Not only my own!
