I see that the police are getting a car fitted with a automatic number platr recognition system. It will help in the fight against criminals.

nothing new there, this tech has been available for years and am surprised we are only seeing this being introduced up here now

about time too, can't think of anything worse than getting hit by an uninsured driver, and as for car tax dodgers I have to pay so should everyone else with a car.

Its nice to see that the police have a new toy to play with, its a shame there is not something similar to help them detect domestic abuse, harrasment, anti-social behavour and theft, thats something they could really use, dozzy LOT !

Its bound to help. Perhaps now they will be out of their warm police station playing with their new toy and might see crimes being committed.
