Well I was teaching yesterday and the kids were learning a piece of music called "Song of the Fjords" they pronouced it "F Jords"
After getting the pronunciation correct I asked them if they knew what a Fjord was - the clue being that it said next to it Norwegian Folk song.
The reply from one P5 pupil was - "Ma Maw has a fjord fiesta and muncle has a focus but he wants the new mondeo.... then blah blah into a short story!"
*muncle - central scotland for my uncle
