my sister-in-law took us to this lovely estate yesterday and what a stunning place it was, just glad I took the camera.

Although it works well as it is, I wonder if the third shot could be better in an upright composition (keeping the boathouse near the top)?

Lovely shots dragonfly. They used to have a cracking caravan site in the grounds, sadly it closed a few years ago.

this building was used to house curling equipment - apparently the lake used to freeze over in Winter and they used to play curling on it - think that was a few years ago though judging by the state of it inside
