Has anyone had any experience with the Hospital Transport to Caithness General? I have a dilemma and not sure what to do.
In the past when I went into the hospital for surgery, I went in the day before and had the pre-op checks done then. This time, I have to go to outpatients a few days before for pre-op checks, then to arrive on the day of surgery at 8.15am.
My problem is, although I qualify for Hospital Transport, I am told that they cannot guarantee to get me there on time. In fact, as it is a voluntary service, they cannot tell me what time I will arrive at the hospital as it is up to the volunteer driver.
Has anyone else come up against this problem?
