Virtual Memory

Hi

From time to time my computer is going so slow its almost at a standstill . I am getting a message popping up about Virtual Memory - Minimum too low.

Any suggestions what the problem is and how can it be fixed?

If you're running XP then click Start > Control Panel then double click the System icon (if you see Pick a Category then click the Performance & Maintenance one, then click System).

Now click the Advanced tab, then the top Settings button, then the Advanced tab again and next the Change button. Now I recommend clicking the System Managed Size option and then click the Set button.

Finally click all the OK buttons until you clear the boxes off the screen. You may need to restart your computer, and afterwards you shouldn't get the Virtual Memory too low message again.
