Off soon on a break and although might seem a little boring, OH was just flicking through her Diary to see what time we arrived in Leyland, Lancashire the last time we went down. We normally stop off at various places between the Far North and Inverness so she notes the time just from Inverness.
Inverness to Leyland is 355 miles and last time on 9th Nov we left at 10.15 and got there at 16.08, worked that out at 5 hours 53 mins.
So what?
Well further reading disclosed that on the 26th Jan 07 left at 07.37 and arrived 13.30.. 18th Aug 07 left at 13.34 got there 19.27. Return trips?; 10th Feb 07 left at 08.48 in Inverness 14.41, and on the 9th Jan 09 left at 10.50 got in 16.43.. I think it's a bit Weird that out of 8 return journeys, that each time; whatever the weather or road conditions, that 5 of these trips have each blinking time has been: 5 hours 53 minutes!.. maybe one of your long-distance drivers has similar happenings? (our route; A9, A90, M73, M74, M6)
