:(ive got 42'' Goodmans plasma tv,goes fine sometimes,then picture can go very snowy and flashing on faces.Its not ariel (sky) as ive plugged in smaller tv which is fine.Ive tried to look for repair man in my area (Keiss) but no joy. HELP!!!!

Try a dvd and see if it still does the same. If so then when did you buy it?
Take it back under warranty!!

yes,it does it with dvd.My mum bought it for me bout year and half ago,little while before she died,didnt know if its under any warrenty.ta

Decision time whether the cost of repairing is worth it.

dont be too hasty on the 'out of warranty' bit.
the sale of goods act 'fit for purpose' rule might well apply.
if it is 'just' outside the manu time, do some research on the net to see if its a common problem with the model, if it is, and the manu acknowledge it as a known issue with the model, then the same rules as within manu warranty apply.
you might well have to pay for an independent eng to assess the fault, but if it is proved, them that will be refunded too.
