View Full Version : Bargain of the week
What has been your "best buy" whilst shopping this week?
Mine was 500g Lurpak spreadable at £1.85 in Co-op in Thurso.
.................................................. .......................................
On the other hand Lidl is advertising two packets of (assorted variety) cooked ham for £4 instead of £2.45 each, however at the checkout unless the packs selected are an identical variety the discount does not come off. Manageress would not back down on this, so beware.

I was speaking to a woman recently, who had just had breast implants done on a "Buy one, get one free offer"
Some nosey wifie overheard our conversation and asked if the offer was still on. I gave my pal a wink and interjected with:- "No, that offer is over but starting April 1st they are doing a "Buy two, get third one free" promotion. The wifie departed with a puzzled look on her face!

Nappies are on a deal in tesco , can't actually mind the price but it was a big box at a reasonable price
and got more nappies at beginning of the week in co-op two big packs for £13.50 so have now stocked up between the two stores for the next few months.
Got myself a new iron from argos reduced from 48,99 to 24.99 , lights up and everything .. shame it doesn't make the ironing more exciting
