View Full Version : Level Crossing Near Misses
I watched this on BBC News. I couldn't believe the stupidity of those involved. Talk about a close call.

Never really use these but I am always wary as we approach the one near Quoybrae,
and yes I agree with you totally on the stupidity of people who take unnecessary risks with their lives as seen on the aforementioned programme.

Oh, the laughter Police are out again tonight. I don't think this is a big deal of a topic. What can you say about it, other than some people are idiots? I note that you have made absolutely NO contribution to this SERIOUS thread, other than butting in to have a go a MY input. Perhaps you can do us all the honour of posting a reply that details how serious a subject this is, why it is so serious and what we should all do to make sure it is addressed?
Someone else took my reply in the spirit it was intended, ie Humourous. One laugh = Post justified. Other people moderate these boards, why not let them get on with it?
ps There is an ignore button available for the hard of humour ;)
Venture I have witnessed a similar incident to the second one in Inverness! I sat in my car gobsmacked as a guy zig zagged across the crossing!
I think scorrie had a point and I do hope the guy pooped his, no doubt, designer pants and thought himself lucky that was all he ruined that day!

at the end of the day that guy new what he was doing the moment he steped onto that rail line great example to children that:roll:
It's a pity he wasn't a second slower, apart from the effect that would have had on the poor driver.
