Some photos of the Arranmore (NW Ireland) Lifeboat leaving Scrabster yesterday, they had to take the long passage home from Buckie as the Caledonian Canal is closed.

Hello Kaz, I think these action photos are excellent. I've only ever seen the Scrabster lifeboat out once and that was when it was towing a broken yatch across Torrisdale bay.
My photos of the large bull seal in Srabster did not come out well - nevermind there is always another day.

Yeah, you just have to remember that each cubic metre of seawater crashing against the boat is nearly a ton:eek: - I suppose the overall effect is higher depending upon the relative speeds of the boat and the tide.
