Out and about today, trying out B/W photography, would appreciate comments good or bad.

No 1 and 4 are real crackers, amazing how very different it looks when there is a little wind behind!

Nice selection wicker05. I'll agree with Raven (again ;-)) No.s 1 & 4 for me also.

I would try some selective dodge & burn work on these to bring out some more interest/variation in the mid tone area? I also find shadow / highlights (in photoshop) can bring out more detail at the lighter end of the spectrum.

I like one but shame about whatever the imperfection is on the castley thing on the right. I like four - it is the crispest for me and I like six too!
