Anyone any thoughts of preferences for image noise reduction software?

Just been at a one year olds birthday party today and was shooting without flash at ISO 1600 f2.8 all the way (on a Canon 40D). Quite pleased with images apart from overall noise.

I've just downloaded and tried www.Imagenomic.com (http://www.Imagenomic.com) Noiseware community edition (free) and am quite impressed. I will buy the full version unless there's a better option.

Any ideas?

Deemac,
From what I've read this seems to be regarded as one of the "Standards".

Imagenomic is the best i've used for astro images.Did try Noise Ninja but found it to be not quite as good but that was only on astro images and very noisy ones at that.
Paint Shop Pro Photo XI has an excellent noise reduction facility, way better than anything
Photoshop cs2/3 or elements6 has to offer imho.

Imagenomic Noiseware Pro for me, does the job well and is easy to use, (it has to be for me).
