I am trying to trace Rebecca Miller. She had an illegitimate daughter, Jane,to Robert Innes of "Hayfield" in 1835. Robert and his family raised her. Jane married William Sinclair in 1856 at "Hayfield", sadly, William died of TB 17 months later. She never remarried.
Does this person sound familiar to anyone? Jane and William had one son John, born 1856.
John and Jane moved to Edinburgh, where they both died. Jane in 1907, John in 1916, John's wife also died in 1907.
I have not been able to discover anything about Rebecca.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.
