Brownie Census

My daughter got a note home from Brownies the other night requesting 'this year's census money which is £21', I've no idea what this is for what it is for, can any one enlighten me please? :confused

Never had anything to do with Brownies but quite a while ago I was a Beaver and Cub Scout Leader. So I presume the Brownies will be the same in respect of the Census.

Each year a Census is sent into the Headquaters of the Scouting Organisation with a Fee for every Member of the Group. I have no Idea what the rate is as it has been a Long Long time since I wasd involved but £21.00 seems a Lot, but it could very well be that now.

I would suggest you contact the Brownie Leader and ask for an explanation and this way you will get the correct information.
