Hi all, I have recently discovered the forums on caithness.org i love them! I really enjoy reading the goings on around caithness, peoples opinions on different topics and the general banter everyone gets with each other. So much so in fact the my boyfriend wants to join too! Unfortunately he has been denied access to this brilliiant community site/forum because he has a hotmail email account :( I was just wondering what everyone thought of this? My boyfriend doesnt have a work email address or isp email address and i have other friends who are in the same position - they cant afford the internet at home and only get access via the public library or friends computers. Is it right to exclude potential orgers due to their email account??

I don't agree with it either but I believe it is to stop automatic "bots" signing up and either posting porn or links to "anatomy" enlargements.

Could you not set up another E-Mail address with your ISP account for your boyfriend?

Ah i see, didnt realise that was why! :O
Yeah im going to get him one set up, was just a thought for others too though that may not be able to have someone set them up an isp account :)
