At a recent APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) Healthy Community Seminar, The Highland Council's High Life leisure access scheme was highlighted as a best practice example of how Scottish local authorities are trying to tackle obesity. Just an aside in case any businesses are reading - did you realise that you can also apply for Corporate Highlife cards? You get 4 cards which can be used by owners, staff, visitors, etc. - seems like an inexpensive way to offer free leisure facilities as a perk of the job, or to visitors to the area! It's the same cost as the family Highlife.
