i wis wonderin if any o' ye's can help me...

i hev several pot plants dotted aboot 'e hoose but iv noticed lek, little white ticks crawlin aboot 'e soil.
in one pot they're choost slightly beeger than tiny...longer, lek little maggots :mad: lots o' them.

iv always repotted fie 'e same bag o' soil. iv checkt 'e bag o' soil but it seems til be clear.

tell me, how healthy are these little crawly things, for ma plant an hoose/environment. as far i can tell they remain in 'e pot, feedin of 'e soil. are they eitin awie at 'e roots an breedin by 'e dizen? i da ken????

plants look healthy enough an are grou'in all rite....:confused

choost sorto as ye wid expect it....no dry but no wet.

slightly damp maybe?

I don't know what they are, but I've had the same problem in the past. I repotted the plants with fresh compost after getting rid of as much of the old stuff as possible, and washing out the pots thoroughly.
I was hoping someone would have answered your question by now 'cos I've been wondering about these little blighters for years.

choost lek little maggots, some are tiny, some are longer. ye can see their little leigs - :mad:

i could be imaginin'ed but i think they mite be gettin beeger :eek:

ats what i think they are aye.....yeah, cheers for 'e link 2little.

now i ken that they are, an especially since they are non harmefull til ma plant....or home livin environment....i think i will think o' them as little pets :lol:

tho they are kwite yuk til look at :mad:
