No pipe band?!?!

Can someone enlighten me on the decision not to have the Wick RBLS Pipe Band playing at the hogmany street party in Wick this year?

The Pipe Band are an intergral part of our society and bring a traditional slant to any celebration. It won't be the same without them... :(

This is a ridiculous decision and I won't be surprised if it turns people away - I really don't know what the thinking is behind this??

Honestly, me and our families are really looking forward seeing the pipe band palying at the hogmany in wick every year!

I don't want to upset anyone here - but another slap in the face for Wick RBLS Pipe Band - there are going to be junior pipers there - from the Thurso Pipe Band...

As I say - not to upset anyone - I'm sure the pipers are fantastic - but surely a Wick event should be showcasing young talent from Wick - no?:confused
