Sweet treats for diabetics

Does anyone know any good recipes that uses a sweetener instead of sugar that would be suitable for a diabetic?.

diabetics can eat [within reason] normal treats,and are advised not to eat diabetic products.

i know this as i have been diabetic for 13 years.
diabetic sweets have a substitute sugar[sorbitol] which can cause the scurry to the loo.

of course ,large quantities of treats are not good for anyone,diabetic or not.i hope that helps....
