when i was traveling home from work to night i heard on the radio that the road between forss and thurso was closed due to accident .

ROAD ACCIDENT - A836 BETWEEN DOUNREAY AND THURSO
POLICE are currently dealing with a serious one vehicle road accident on the
A836 between Dounreay and Thurso at Forss.
The accident happened at around 3.30pm and involved a car which was occupied by
one person.
There are no details on the driver's condition at this stage and a further
media release will be issued in due course.
The road was initially closed in both directions but Police can advise that one
lane is now open and passble.

i read in the paper 2day that this poor man was killed in the accident :cry:
does any1 know his name yet? i'm so sorry 4 his family & friends.

I don't think you should discuss the man's name here.

No I really dont think it would be a good idea to give the name out publicly. I also know that the wrong name has also been circulating the town which obviously would cause distress.

To be quite honest I think it is not only insensitive but also very rude to be asking for such details on this forum! Have you nothing better to do?

i also think it is rude and insensitive to even be asking about it on here, can you imagine if you were in his families situation and someone on here was being nosey and discussing your business, im sure you wouldnt like it and be very hurt by it! I know i would!!!

well spiggie, am not the only 1... Rubha_an_Tuir is seekin info too (under groat & courier on-line thread), an' no rudeness meant wotsoever - just so hopin it's not who i fear it is from description of age 'n car given, but i'll find out in time. :cry:

How totally insensitive to be even discussing this. How would you feel if it was a member of your family and everyone was gossiping about it on this forum. This aint the time or place. You will find out soon enough!
