A wee poem by myself .Who am I ?

Who am I ,I am the sun that shines bright, warming your heart, bringing life to all,I am part of you
I am water ,the drink of life, I am the cleanser ,I am part of you
I am the wind that brings change, breath me for I am part of you
I am the earth your mother care for me, as I care for you, for I am part of you
I am the stars that shine bright on a dark night to remind you I am part of you
I am in all life ,feel me, you are never alone, please don't forget I am part of you

Love light and laughter

"Who are you ?" Looks like you have already discovered ! Well done.

I'm still trying to find out....!

Keep writing

"You are the pen that spreads the ink
You are the one who makes me think
Should I write today or stay by the sink
And clean up after all the others "

I am the fart that spreads the stink
The one that makes you go 'whew'
I am the one who makes you think
He'd better rush to the loo. [lol]

You are the White Cloud wafting over the sky
On a warm summer’s day, I gaze as I lie
in the shade of a tree, with others, as we
Wait for more …. Oh hear our plea !

Now is the time

now is the time,to let go of all pain
to speak with your heart, and become one again
to open your eyes, see with non judgemental sight
come open your arms and bring in the light
come open your heart let it shine from within
come open your soul, let joy begin
come open your ears, stop listening to fear
come join together the message is clear

I liked it !
You certainly have a way with words .
On this thread we go for weeks without replying - unlike General where folk chat more ! Likely we are a queer lot !!

Dont despair, keep writing and have faith in yourself.
Although it's nice to have praise from time to time - you will know what's good or not so good. You will be your own best judge.

Anyway thanks for the prod - it's good to be reminded sometimes !

Trinkie
I am the one who needs to be prodded
The forgetful, The scatterbrain who thinks 'Oh well sod it'
The one who takes on too much work in a day
While others around me, just get out and play
I love nothing more than sitting with words
Or gazing at clouds and watching the birds
As they fly so high o'er rooftops and trees
Whilst inside my room it's so cold, I could freeze !

Thank you trinkie nothing wrong with looking at the clouds and birds one of my favorite past times too,I think for me it depends on the mood im in to what kind of poems I write.I have a silly poem I wrote in my early teens, I used to write loads of them then, this one I wrote when I was in a bit of a mood.

One day I walked down the road
I bumped into a little toad
The little toad said its name was Fred
I said that very interesting
Then stood on the s head

Alas poor toad he is no more,
Just a brown splodge upon the floor!
Poor Fred came to a sticky end
Mebbe he should have turned the bend!

I'm Sporran, a woman who likes words that rhyme
I've been known to write poems from time to time
I grew up in Thurso a long time ago
Then with my hubby, overseas I did go
I like to visit Caithness.Org ev'ry day
It makes my homeland seem closer that way! :)

In africa I stayed for two years I may say
The heat and the sun was so hot I would pray
Give me the cold, rain and snow
Give me green grass and the rolling hills I know
So out of Africa I ran quite fast
Back home in scotland at last
