anyone know if marinade has to be cooked before you can eat it or can you use it straight frim the jar for different uses other than actual marinade?:D

Usually make my own but have a look at the ingredients, that should give you a clue. Of the top of my head I would say that there wouldn't normally be anything in them that couldn't be eaten raw (so to speak) ~assuming you hadn't "contaminated" it with raw meat. Why not just use it as a marinade? They can make a nice change from the norm. :D

cos i'm a weirdo:Razz i bought it to tone down a cumberland sauce...which i cooked. but i love the flavour of the marinade and put it in toasted sandwiches which was gooood but then i thought maybe....maybe to eat with some crisps....mmmm
