The use of the word "Lodge" definitely points to some kind of masonic origins... Although a lot of the information is kept quite secret, I'm sure you'll find someone who knows it's purpose.
Try posting on this site...

Impressive site!!
How about sending a message to Lodge Latheron and asking them about token.
They may want to buy it from you.
Its a "Mark token" from Lodge Latheron- Masonic Lodge most masonic lodges have them.

Why not just donate it to the lodge, it is of no monetary value
You're holding it the wrong way up.
Try googling "HTWSSTKS acronym" and you should find out most of what you want to know.
(And no, I'm not.......)

it is a Millennium Mark token - hence the mm maker's mark on the reverse. The obverse has typical masonic symbols, the mallet & chisel and square & compass. These are the tools of a stonemason. The thistles are just decoration as it is a Scottish lodge. The reverse is common to a large number of scottish tokens.
