On the whats on section it says start 6.30pm but on the signs in Thurso it says 7pm. Can anyone advise the correct starting time.

used to be the lighting of the bonfire was 30 mins before the display , maybe thats what is at 6.30??
Can confirm (on behalf of the organisers Thurso Round Table) that the Fireworks will begin at 7pm. There will be no bonfire this year unfortunately.
Hopefully the weather won't let us down this year like it did last year!
Sad that, No Bonfire, but I am sure the display of Fireworks will be as good as it always is and well worth going along to see.
I'll be there so look out for this Bear.
If the weather is cold they will be coming up to you for a HUG Kodiak! [lol]

Think there was some hoo-haa about clearing it up last year...or could just be the weather?

Someone said it might be to do with the tides?
Looking forward to seeing the fireworks on Saturday, usually an excellent display thanks to everyone who puts time and effort in to get them all set up.
