Trying to go a little further back and find conections to Allan McDonald/fisherman and looks like Potter on his death certificate, his wife was Margaret Monro. Allan died in 1881 he was 47years old. His father was Roderick McDonald and mother Maria McDonald M.S. McLeod...I have not been able to find out anything further on Roderick and Maria. Also Donald Bain and wife Helen Green...Donald was a shoemaker. he died in 1869, his Death certificate lists his father as Donald Bain (farmer) and his mother as Elizabeth Bain M.S. Tait. I would be so thankful for any information. Elizabeth Clatterbuck

Hi Elizabeth

What is your interest in Donald BAIN & Helen GREEN?

I have Helen (Ellen) on my family tree via SINCLAIR. She was the daughter of Walter GREEN & Margaret SUTHERLAND the daughter of John SUTHERLAND & Isabella SINCLAIR, daughter of Helen BREMNER & Robert SINCLAIR merchant in Wick, younger brother to my ancestor James SINCLAIR the chamberlain. James & Robert's father was Donald SINCLAIR the sailor, son of David SINCLAIR of Broynach.

I recently contacted a descendant of Donald Bain & Helen GREEN.
