I would appreciate if anyone can tell me where Sconthel in Caithness is ?

Should it not be Scouthal. There are more than one in Caithness. The one I know is near Watten on the banks of the Wick River.

Thank you for replying, I am not sure. In the online Am baile newspaper search, the translation is Sconthel. However I do have a marriage certificate which is hard to real and the spelling could read either Sconthel or Scouthal.
