hi jst installed a new ati graphics card in my sons comp now i have no sound any help would be more than welcome thanks

The most obvious thing would be did you plug the speakers back in the right socket? It's usually the green one...

you could also try right clicking on the speaker icon bottom right of screen. When i had new ati this happened to me and we tried everything only to click on this just to see and low and behold it was on mute[disgust]
