From a good N.W.of England chippy: steak puddin' chips and mushy peas, in a tray with gravy. Eaten with someone you love , in the car while the rain beats down on the roof.

When I lived in the South West, nothing could be a proper Cornish Pasty!
But up here on the North coast I would have to go for a fresh bit of fish.

Mmmm it's got to be roast chicken, real roast tatties, a nice selection of veg and a gravy you'd quite happily eat as a soup. Just like me Mam did and just like me other half does now.
Fish n chips mmmmmmm yum yum or chicken tikka or bacon rolls with tomatoe sauce
