the amount of people lost diving on these old wrecks is getting to be something else and it seems to be like mountaineering it goes on and on tony

Diving wrecks is a part of the fun of diving - many places sink ships and old aircraft to attract divers.

Diving has its risks - just as skydiving does or any other extreme form of sport. People do these activities knowing the risks and they do the best they can to reduce those risks but sometimes accidents happen.

You could be crossing the road and get run down - does that mean we should ban people crossing roads?

Sadly this is the case, with a risky sport accidents happen.

I think it was Sir Edmund Hillary that replied to the question 'why did you climb that mountain' with the response 'Because it was there'.

To me that sums it up when somebody takes a risk i never would, because it was there.... canny argue with that one.
