This very smart young lady is Mary Swanson, who was, at one time, engaged to Horace Henderson. His sister Nell (my second cousin once removed) gave my mother her ring. I have often wondered what became of Mary.
The ring has passed from Mary to Nell (Helen/Ellen) to my mother, Mary, to me, Helen, and will go to my daughter Mary, and hence to her daughter Louise Helen... hope she has a daughter Mary to keep up the tradition.
Anyone know anything about Mary?
