The Case of the Random Jumping Cursor.

Sometimes when I type a reply in a post or even write an email or word document, the cursor sometimes jumps to a random part of the screen or dialogue box. It is quite annoying, anyone got a solution as to the problem?

It is a laptop :) I've just discovered some fluff in the optical mouse which can't be helping much so I wonder if that is the problem? Time will only tell.

Are you using Firefox 3? It's a known issue with that browser - a Java update clears it if I remember correctly.

This is quite a common problem with laptops...
The problem is when you are typing away you don't realise the palm of your hands touching the mouse pad and moving your mouse :D.
